THIS JUST IN - BIO-HAZARD TEAM 'FINGERS' NATURE MORTE

The haz-mat (hazardous materials) folks showed up unannounced at our pseudo P-Lab and despite a large hand-printed sign, saying what the set-up really was, the Keystone-Cop-style 'haz-techs' took swabs and detained the painter (i.e. Marie Claire Brehaut) for questioning.

Next, the haz-team photographed the piece and computer-graphically circled the areas they had swab-tested. The augmented photo and the haz-mat report was then sent to the 'Proper Authorities'. Marie-Claire & I will be getting a copy of the report for our own purposes.

Seems an over-zealous good-citizen dobbed us in to the authorities. Our thanks go out to the vigilant individual who "dropped the dime' on Nature Morte . As the haz-mat team's photo/graphic and its report will make a fine visual and conceptual augmentation to the final Nature Morte tableau.

A final note: Marie-Claire - although slightly discombobulated at having her painting session interrupted by clip-board bearing officials - reports that she enjoyed being 'restrained' by participating officials.
