NATURE MORTE TRAVELS TO AUSTRALIA

After a successful run in most major NZ cities ( Christchurch, Dunedin, Wellington & Auckland) and plenty of arts and mainstream media coverage ( Art New Zealand, Eyecontact, NZ Public Radio, and most metropolitan newspapers) Nature Morte is set to travel, at the end of September, to Westspace in Melbourne and then on to Sydney (with thanks to artist, empresario and art historian Oliver Watts).

The work is now in Auckland (at Pic Pac) waiting to be crated. I need to run up north and make a painstaking inventory of the display's contents - as it's not every month that a P-Lab gets exported from New Zealand and imported to Australia ... where due to linguistic (and euphemistic) difference it transforms into an Ice-Lab as it touches down in Oz.
