Savant will open at Brooke/Gifford on the 27th of April. The show will consist of one large painting (perhaps the last text/image painting I'll be making for a while) a figurative sculpture which I modeled from Super Sculpy while residing in two different Australian hotel rooms ( Sydney & Melbourne ) when traveling, and a number of small paintings and drawings on the inside end-papers of cloth-bound book covers. I'll also be showing one painting on panel (Little Savant)of the kind that will populate The Illustrated History of Painting which has gotten the nod from the CAG.
